The recruitment process in Lithuania is very similar to the Danish: either it is done within the company or through a recruitment agency. Employment relations in Lithuania is regulated by the Labour Code, which states that all work fulfilled by a natural person in all enterprises, organisations and institutions must be performed under an employment contract. The contract must be written in Lithuanian but a copy in any foreign language can be attached.

The Trade Council can assist Danish companies in their recruitment process in Lithuania by e.g. placing job adds in relevant media or job portals, suggesting suitable candidates, carry out the first rounds of interviews, and find premises for interviews performed in Lithuania.
