higher education

International students in Denmark can choose between more than 500 degree programs and 1300 courses taught in English. Students have the opportunity to study for an Academy Profession, a Bachelor’s, a Master’s or a PhD degree or participate in exchange programs or attend summer schools. Please click here for an overview of the different opportunities to study in Denmark.

If the applicant has a satisfactory level of Danish language proficiency, the opportunity to take courses or an entire degree taught in Danish also exists. Most programs require that the applicant has passed the “Study Test in Danish as a Second Language” (Studieprøven i dansk som andetsprog) or can present proof of an equivalent proficiency in the Danish language. It can be a requirement of the school in question that specific parts of the Study Test are passed with a certain grade. Please visit the website of the relevant school to see the specific language requirements.
