Postal voting abroad for local elections in Greenland on 1 April 2025

Municipal, village council and parish council elections will be held in Greenland on 1 April 2025. From 1 January 2025, Greenlandic voters living abroad can cast their vote by postal vote at a Danish representation.

Voters who can vote in the election can vote by post at the Danish Embassy in Vilnius, T. Kosciuskos g. 36, and at the Honorary Consulate in Klaipeda, Baltijos pr. 40 from Monday to Friday. 

We ask that you make an appointment in advance by sending an email to [email protected] (Embassy in Vilnius) or calling +370 698 02593 (Consulate in Klaipeda).

Please note that it takes time for your postal vote to reach the right municipality. It is therefore a good idea to vote as early as possible.

Remember to bring identification.
